game night.

I was recently nagged into agreeing that, at long last, I will start holding the game nights that I said I would. Mea culpa?

I will, thus, be holding the first on Friday, January 28th, at 7pm in my lovely 7th floor penthouse in Parkdale. If you're seeing this, you're invited. Dress is (ahem) informal. I live near the corner of King and Jameson, on Jameson, and to find out more than that (phone #, address, apt. code, etc), please email me, thespian @, with something about game night in your subject. King Streetcars run from 5:30am to 2:30am, and 24 hour service on Queen is a block north. The apartment has two cats (though we might be down to one by then), for the allergy concerned. I can set up up to three tables for games, and I have some crash space (because I know at least one person reading this would prolly like to attend but will point out they can't get home after because they're in the 'outlying areas').

A partial list of games I have:
Common Games: Monopoly, Star Wars Monopoly, Advance to Boardwalk, Scrabble, Clue, Operation, Risk, Isolation, various Trival Pursuits, Encore, Ubi, Battleship
Board Games: The Play's the Thing, Origins, Star Trek: The Board Game, Talisman (and all expansions), Chainsaw Warrior, Buffy the Vampire Slayre: The Board Game
Looney Games: Chrononauts, Aquarius, Are You a Werewolf?, Fluxx, Nanofictionary, Proton, Cosmic Coasters
Cheapass Games: the whole Devil Bunny ouevre, U.S. Patent Number 1, The Big Idea, Change!, Agora, The Big Cheese, Cube Farm, Give me the Brain and Lord of the Fries, The Very Clever Pipe Game. Oh, and some Button Men.
And: Cosmic Encounter, Falling, Landlord!, Showbiz Shuffle, Loco!, Chez Geek, Gother than Thou, Wizard, Tibbits, Tri-Versity, Apples to Apples, the Harry Potter card game...

I also have a 2600, Sega Master System, Dreamcast, a Virtual Boy, and a weird little bootleg original nintendo games thing. Game systems never seem to interest me until they are dead.

and more. That's just what's coming to mind and I can see from this side of the apartment. So if you'd like to come and play, or if you have a game you've been aching to find someone to play with, I'd love to see you then; just rsvp here, and contact me for directions if you need 'em.
